The restoration of the West Hills Administration building's foundation is slated for spring 2008. This plan requires the removal of the Arts Center garden, including the fountain. This timing presents the opportunity for the Arts Center to coordinate its plans with the City's.

Strategically, the Arts Center has noted the benefits of an elevator, entry, and street presence. In addition, considerations are to design an outdoor programming space.
