Junk Sculpture (Ages 6+)

Put on your creativity cap and think outside the box – or the junk drawer. In this class, students will be creating sculptural pieces utilizing what has been filling your junk drawer and closets. You may also take from the Arts Center’s collection of “junk.” We will concentrate on shapes rather than on the actual objects and combine shapes to discuss what new, cool forms evolve. Everyone will make his or her own and if time allows, the last project will be a collaborative group sculpture that will be displayed at the Arts Center. Start saving NOW!
